LVTA ‘S CIRCUIT CULTURAL FESTIVAL EXHIBITION 2012

Western Circuit Cultural Festival (WCCF) is a registered Cultural organization by the ministry of Culture and managed by Lake Victoria Tourism Association (LVTA). WCCF intends to host the first ever Cultural Festival and Exhibition in the circuit with a theme – UNITY IN DIVERSITY. The exhibition will be an annual high profile event in line with the cultural festival that will attract participation from both local and international cultural trade partners. Early this year, LVTA HOSTED OVER 33 Tours and Travel exhibitors at Mega City grounds Kisumu and thereafter invited them to interface with local tourism industry partners during a symposium at Sunset hotel. The immense success and interest shown in the exhibition led to the establishment of the WCCF Exhibition. Consequently LVTA is directing its efforts towards growing this exhibition into one of the best and most visited cultural exhibitions in Kenya.
OBJECTIVES
This year’s exhibition is scheduled to take place from 21^st -23^rd November 2012 at the Jomo Kenyatta sports ground and on the 24^th November 2012 at Impala pack Sanctuary during the Boar Racing Event. WCCF expects this year’s exhibition to attract more participation from local tourism industry players as well as cross county boundaries.
Objectives of the expo are as follows:

• To establish and develop the WCCF exhibition as a Regional Cultural Exhibition in the Western Circuit that will be a focal point in Kenya tourism
• To generate new business for local industry partners by hosting selected key buyers from source markets in line with LVTA overall strategy.
• To position and showcase Western Circuit as an up market high value and safe destination offering unparalleled diversity of tourism diversity

The exhibitors will include Banks, Tourism Supply company, Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Lodges, Airlines, Car Rental companies, Transport companies, Parastals within the ministry of Culture and Tourism within the Western circuit, Community based Tourism Organizations, Curio dealers among others.
